How to upload an NDIS plan with AI

Upload a participant NDIS plan PDF, review extracted details, check budget categories and create the plan safely.

Before you start

Check these items before changing participant, billing or compliance records.

  • Use the complete NDIS plan PDF, not a screenshot or partial extract.
  • Check that the participant record exists first.
  • Have the original PDF open so you can verify extracted dates and budget amounts.

Steps

Follow this workflow.

Open the participant plan upload screen

Open the participant profile, go to Plans, then choose Upload NDIS Plan. Upload the PDF and wait for CordoCare to finish extraction.

Review participant matching

Confirm the extracted participant name, NDIS number and plan dates match the existing participant record. Correct anything that does not match the PDF.

Check budget categories and support lines

Review Core, Capacity Building and Capital categories, then check line items, allocated amounts, support item names and any confidence flags.

Choose the final action

Use the review step to decide whether the plan should create a new plan, update an existing draft or be held for manual correction.

Save and verify budget summary

After saving, open the plan detail page and compare total budgets against the original PDF. Record any correction before using the plan for billing or reporting.

Expected outcome

The participant has a verified NDIS plan with budgets ready for utilisation tracking, goals and billing checks.
